GOBA Membership Secretary Thor Roser took to the water a few days ago to collect any visible rubbish. Somewhat worryingly he picked about 7 to 8kg of trash just between Huntingdon Boat Haven and Godmanchester
Amongst his haul was a model of a Mecedes Benz W196 (Late 1960’s vintage). Maybe that can be used as a incentive for a river treasure (sorry rubbish) hunt ?? How it got there and survived remains a mystery.
A fellow litter picker was spotted along the route. Apparently he does this regularly. Well done to both of you!!
